At Brondesbury Sports Club
Brondesbury Cricket Club was founded in 1887 and is affiliated to the MCB, CCC and NCA.
Our 1st XI play in the prestigious ECB Middlesex Premier League, but we cater for all abilities with 5 Saturday XIs, 2 Sunday XIs, and other friendly cricket opportunities. Recent additions include new grass training pitches, two new astroturfs for colts matches and a new electric scorebox, so you’ll be well catered for.
The club runs four XIs on Saturdays, plus the Bron Eagles and Bron Casuals on Sundays, and trains at Lord’s on Sunday evenings during the winter, from early January until the start of the season. The club will also compete in the ECB National Knockout Cup, the Middlesex Cup and the National Twenty20 Cup.
We are proud of the many International and County players to have represented the club over the years, including Mike Gatting, Sourav Ganguly, Dermot Reeve, Nick Compton, Billy Godleman, John Simpson and Glenn Phillips.
With three Middlesex Premier League titles, six Middlesex Cup crowns, and two victories at the Oval in the Evening Standard Trophy, we have a history steeped in honours.
The club welcomes new senior and junior players of all abilities, whether you’re a top-level cricketer, a keen club player, or thinking about returning to the game. Any enquiries should be directed to Charlie Sorensen, Hon. Secretary at emailaddresshere. Membership information can be found at our dedicated site: www.brondesburycc.co.uk
The club has a large colts section catering for boys and girls through the age groups, and is represented by teams in the U11, U13 and U15 Middlesex leagues. There is also a Bron Academy which is designed to develop older colts into club cricketers.
